1. Your choice
Necessary functions remain active. Optional Rybbit analytics loads only after “Allow analytics”; “Necessary only” does not enable it. Consent is not preselected. Change or withdraw your choice under “Privacy settings” in the footer. Withdrawal reloads the page to stop the running tracker.
2. Necessary storage
Local storage entry coglake.website-privacy.v1 keeps your choice and timestamp for 180 days solely to respect your preference. The coglake.locale cookie remembers your chosen website language. Protected account and editorial areas also use necessary session storage for authentication and security, separately from optional analytics.
Strictly necessary storage access is based on Section 25(2)(2) TDDDG. Personal-data processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR depending on the function.
3. Optional Rybbit storage
After consent, the site loads self-hosted analytics from analytics.centerbit.net. It can store a random visitor identifier in local storage as rybbit-visitor-id. Unlike an expiring cookie, this storage has no automatic expiry and remains until removed by the site or browser. The script reads any existing rybbit-user-id; the public CogLake site does not pass account IDs to this function.
On refusal or withdrawal, the website removes known Rybbit visitor/user identifiers and any replay-sampling entry where the browser permits it. This does not retroactively delete data already received by the analytics server. Session replay is not enabled here. Optional analytics and related storage accesses require your consent.
4. Browser controls and blocked storage
Inspect, block or delete site data through browser settings. If consent cannot be saved, analytics stays off. If your browser also prevents removing an old choice, analytics is disabled for the current page and a warning appears. Clear site data in that case to prevent an old choice applying on a later visit. Removing the choice prompts again; it does not give consent.
