Frequently asked questions

Do I need the AI Workspace?

No. The Knowledgebase can be purchased and used independently, including its search, wiki and authorized API/MCP access. AI Workspace is an optional integrated extension.

Do we need to move all our files?

No. Connect supported source systems and choose their scope. CogLake indexes the content while keeping source identity and original links available.

How are access rights handled?

Knowledgebase queries enforce the current caller, workspace permissions and applicable source access rules. Previously saved outputs have their own access permissions.
